First-year students' perception of the faculty of education and their ambitions to become teachers

The thesis focuses on students of teaching in the first year of their studies at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague, specifically on their perception of the teaching profession and the teaching studies they are completing. The paper answers the questions why students choose the Faculty of Education, how they perceive the first year of study at the Faculty of Education and whether they want to teach. The theoretical part presents previously published Czech and foreign findings concerning the factors that motivate students to go into teaching, or how students evaluate studying at the Faculty of Education or what they perceive as the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching profession. The theoretical part also introduces the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague in more detail, because it is where the research part of this thesis was conducted. The research part shows the results of the mixed research. It consists of a quantitative method in a minor part and presents data from questionnaires for first year students. German Language Teacher Education at the Faculty of Education in České Budějovice - History, Present, Perspectives

To create an ideal study plan which is one of the main focus of this thesis, it is crucial to take into consideration not only current educational trends but also to be well oriented in the history of German language study at pedagogical faculties. The thesis is, therefore, analyzing study programs at the University of South Bohemia from the beginning of the '80s till now. Along with the "satisfaction research" amongst the current students of this program, these analyses create a valid foundation for the creation of an ideal study plan, so fulfilling the aim of this thesis. This study plan reflects some of the students' perceptions and is also formed in connection with the development tendencies of German language teacher education at the University of South Bohemia in the last 30 years.
Pedagogical-psychological module and university (common) base: analysis of programmes of study at faculties of education

This work is devoted to pedagogical and psychological module and university base within the structured study at the faculties of education. In nine chapters are introduced all nine faculties. They are listed alphabetically by the city in which it resides. As the first there are analyzed objects of pedagogical and psychological module in a bachelor and master studies later. Next follows the analysis of university base in the same order. The attention is focused on a composition of objects and their credit score, time allocation, form of and time period how are taught. Accent is on possible changes in the academic years. Each chapter is accompanied by a table. The final chapter notes the different and the same characters among faculties. The goal of this work is to explore where are obstacles of improvement of teacher training on faculties of education in Czech Republic. I answer this question through the case study of a selected Czech faculty of education. I discovered several obstacles of improvement of teacher training by realizing interviews with faculty heads; analyzing the frames, which they use for framing their experiences with the obstacles; and analyzing the institutional context of teacher training on the selected faculty (intervention heuristic investigation). Bohumír Janoušek as Historian

Bohumír Janoušek as historian (1924 2007), the diploma thesis, the Institute of cultural studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of South Bohemia. České Budějovice 2015. This diploma thesis approaches the life story of one of South Bohemian historian of post-war period, which has been overlooked so far. The work does not try only to provide information about the life and works of Bohumír Janoušek, but also classifies him in the context of time, focusing on his views and attitudes. He worked as an archivist, historian and educator. He was a member of the Communist Party and this fact primarily affected his life and work. This thesis has been the first attempting to describe and analyse the life of this outstanding South Bohemian historian of the second half of the twentieth century.
Health Education in Adequate Psysical Exercise Regimen for Women in Menopause

In today's society youth, beauty and performance are considered to be the most important. At the same time, a modern woman spends up to one third of her life with a lack of sex hormones. Menopause brings a number of changes in both physical and psychological ways. This involution process is irreversible, however health education through an educational programme of comprehensive approach of Pilates can help these women to ease acceptance of this life phase. For this work I used DVD materials I've already developed for my previous work Pilates Method for the Senior Population and I also created a new challenging educational programme. Diagnostics of pedagogical practise by the pedagogical faculty student´s

In theoretical part, this thesis is occupied with indiviual components related with pedagogical practice at universities. This theoretical part acquaint the reader with practice, with an impact on a student, with the source of professionalization in the historical developement and with the foreign models of professionalization. In this section, it also acquaints the readers with the fine line of practice with teaching methodology. It illuminates issues in particular faculties. It also pushed ahead educators of teachers, ahead motivation in practice, organization of teaching practice and its evaluation. This part is added on several proposals of dealing the issues. The second part is practical and explorational. This part finds out satisfaction of students with teaching practice at The Faculty of pedagogy in České Budějovice using questionnaires and processes their proposals to improve. The results were graphically processed and accompanied by commentary. The thesis is accompanied by interesting annexes applied on pedagogical practice.
